Someone mentioned this song on the FaceBox and I found this Irish version that reminded me of our families adventure to Ireland last year around this time.

This is a good one. From an artist that’s really quite awesome and has a great story. The message is a good one. Maybe doesn’t fit well for everyone, but for me the core of it is super important.

Had to pick this song today for 2 reasons.
First, its food day. So everybody better ready to eat come lunch.
Second, when I was leaving yesterday (and at multiple points yesterday) I heard some uproarious laughter come from the tech side and wanted to start Friday off with a few giggles as well.
Couldn’t help but smile and take some pride in being part of a company with a bunch of kindred souls that can laugh that hard together on a random Thursday afternoon.
Reminded me of the quote, “Laughter is the language of the soul” by Pablo Neruda.
Don’t forget to laugh a little today.

This song reminds me of just how much “soul” a song can include.
Music is a part of the human experience and expresses that soul that lies within each of us. Music is an outward expression of that soul that we can all relate to.

I know I have said this before, but my favorite thing about music is that it is the great equalizer. We may not all like the same exact music, but we all seem to have this internal mechanism that is wired to like and to seek out music.

I purposefully found and sent the version of this with the lyrics. Take the time to listen and read the lyrics. The chorus really stood out:

It all starts inside each and every one of us. An interesting and common theme in most of the videos and reading I have done lately is the truth of this. For some reason, human beings were made with an inherent ability to change their environment merely by thinking in a certain way. Sounds a little crazy at first, but the more I read it and the more I watch the world around me the more I believe this to be true.
