Being a father, I liked JW’s quote about handicapping your children.

And I think it applies to ourselves as well. Too often we take the easy path of life only to find out that in the end we have handicapped ourselves.

We have a tremendous opportunity to do great things. And this often requires taking the (seemingly) more difficult path. We must resist the urge to be easy on ourselves.
