It’s official, Maggie turned 8 yesterday.
Along with her birthday came a reading of "Happy Birthday to You" by Dr. Seuss.
Here are a few of my favorite lines:

That’s a great thing to be! If I say so myself, HAPPY BIRTHDAY TO ME!” Birthdays are a great reminder that we are unique. Each one of us is uniquely created. I believe our job on our birthday is to choose humility and gratitude in response to that unique gift that each of us represent. Gratitude for all that we have been given. Humility in the realization that all of us are created uniquely and that our greatest value will come in applying our uniqueness through service to others. Even if it isn’t your birthday today, remember that no one is you-er than you. Make it a great day. Jake |
