And she gave birth to her firstborn son and wrapped him in swaddling cloths and laid him in a manger, because there was no place for them in the inn. – Luke 2:7
For Christians, the Christmas season is the ultimate in hope. It celebrates the day when it all began to change by the birth of a little baby.
Christmas represents that kind of hope for all of us.
The hope that good will win out over evil.
The hope that kindness will win out over selfishness.
The hope that charity will win out over greed.
The hope that wrongs will be forgiven.
The hope that differences will be reconciled.
Christmas is a season of hope. What are you hoping for this Christmas?
Merry Christmas.
